Waitakere Ranges
These Shots are from a walk/hike my friends and I did to the Waitakere Ranges and this walk follows the rugged west coast, and is quite close to the fabled Piha surf beach!! Was quite windy that day too!!

All the pictures are breathtaking, and I think you did a fine job of taking them. What georgeous views you have!... and to be near to the beach, my favorite place in the world, and it doesn't matter what beach it is.

Ellen - Thanks so much :) Even in scanning the pics from my album I found myself getting more enthused about taking pictures. Yes I am truely blessed to live in NZ, for the moment no turmoil beyond petty people. Will endevour to scan some more when I take em' or find em' in my pile of photos.
Neo - Cheers man! He He, you really like the whole camping thing? ON A MOUNTAIN SIDE?? You know I think that you should put that in your next edition of players points, when you've got the girl you can take her 'camping'!!!?

Actually just a note, went out this morning into the city and had a play with my camera, will see how the shots turned out, might even post them - will see!

That rock looks like a half man/ half dog in the water.... I can see such great detail! How beautiful it is there! I'd love to go to your side of the world! You will be linked to me here pretty soon.....I love your shots!

Hey, I was just thinking a similar thing, Jules, that last pic looks like a dog sitting in the water with his head cocked sideways, like he is trying to figure out what you are saying! Great pics!! I love seeing great pics from places i have never been. I am in Texas, very far from NZ!
