Some Random Shots from Inside the Sky Tower

I was playing (again again :) with the shutter speed, and this is the result on fountains below a wall of glass and water running down it. The bottom pic was taken up the top of the Tower looking out to the remaining light of the evening, used a long exposure.

I took these shots, and started to play around with The shutter speed (again) and this time I was pleased with the results, it was fun!

Well these are some Pics I Had to take as we were going to the sky tower for dinner, driving along and the sky was on fire, it was amazing!

This shot is a bit random I agree, but I was playing with the camera settings, and tried a fast shutter speed with my telescopic lens, this is the result. A set of steps going into the water on the waterfront!

This the Sky Tower, Tried some night shots of this - will have to wait for developing of those shots to see if they came out how I wanted!

This is the beautiful morning sun rise that greeted me, thought it deserved remembering:)












I tried some adjustments on the pic, came up with this, I really like it gives that saturated feel!

Thought that I would show the pics that came out, was a little disapointed but here you go, took these on Tuesday (my time). while walking round my City. This is of a fountain in a Park with is close to my Uni, its a great place to relax and enjoy some sun!

Waitakere Ranges

These Shots are from a walk/hike my friends and I did to the Waitakere Ranges and this walk follows the rugged west coast, and is quite close to the fabled Piha surf beach!! Was quite windy that day too!!

Waipoa Forest, Tane Mahuta

These Shots are typically New Zealand, the biggest (in volume) tree in New Zealand Tane Mahuta at the top. Supposed to be like 1400 years old or something like that. And the second shot is the Koru, what most Maori designs are based on.

Stratford, Mt Taranaki

These two shots are from further South in Stratford, with Mt Taranaki towering in the background, actually I took the shot from miles away as we were leaving the area.

Rangitoto Island

These shots are from and of a small Volcanic Island called Rangitoto, just close to the City I live in. Which in the top shot you can see, kind of, in the distance!!

This is a Music Festival I went to

These three shots are from a large music festival I went to, it was Great fun in the evening, a bit too hot during the day. Its a pic of the main acts at Parachute Music festival.

Next is a twilight shot

This shot is From Great Barrier Island at Dusk.

Alrighty then gonna have a pile of pics here, most from further around NZ than my city, these lovely pics are from a Beach up north where I used to live before coming to Uni, its a West coast sunset :) Oh and all the pics are mine :) Sorry for the poor quality its just I had to rush on the scanner! Hope you guys enjoy em!

Well Sorry guys this is under construction.................. But its intention is that When I get organised I will use this sister blog to post my pics about NZ and things that I do or have done, rather than clutter up my other blog. NO Neo this will not become an orphan blog:)
